Kashmir, North India, has long faced challenging times, yet its spirit endures through the timeless art of its people. Among India’s finest artisans, those from this region have created masterpieces celebrated around the world - with works even represented in Buckingham Palace.
This Pure Pashmina shawl, crafted by Mr. Akhram and his family in their village in Northern India, features traditional Ari embroidery that takes 3 to 6 months to complete.
Adorned with hand-stitched cotton embroidery, it stands as a tribute to resilience, artistry, and the poetry of human hands.
True pashmina is gathered from the Himalayan goat’s winter undercoat, a ritual passed down through generations. The most exquisite fibres are found at the neck: rare, impossibly soft, and long revered by artisans. Wool gathered from the body and neck continues this story of warmth and care, offering a gentler expression of pashmina that remains natural, enduring, and accessible.
Timeless warmth, crafted for generations.
