Collection: Nueva Vida Tapestry

Woven by the remarkable women of Cooperativa Vida Nueva in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, each tapestry is both art and act of liberation. Founded by sisters Pastora and Sylvia Gutiérrez, the cooperative was born from a shared vision – to give women the tools to break cycles of patriarchy, silence, and dependency through the craft of weaving.

Every artisan receives her own loom to work from home, allowing her to sustain her craft and independence. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the women, and each tapestry arrives with a handwritten bio of its maker – connecting you to the heart behind the weave.

But Nueva Vida is more than a workspace. It’s a safe, ancestral home and a community sanctuary filled with laughter, zumba classes, home cooking, and mental health support. It’s a space where healing and creativity walk hand in hand.
