Collection: Betzy and Miguel Pottery Collection

Betzy and Miguel, artisans from Santa María Atzompa, mine their own clay from ancestral hills and transform it into vessels pulsing with heritage and heart. Betzy learned the craft from her mother and grandmother – three generations of women whose devotion to clay runs as deep as the mountain soil itself.

Betzy’s joyful spirit and Miguel’s steady mastery of the kiln merge in pieces that feel lived-in from the moment you hold them. Miguel, also a teacher and mezcal-maker, brings his fierce focus to every firing, honouring tradition while infusing each work with his own quiet strength.

Their workshop is a welcoming home where cats and children weave between tables, and laughter rises over black mole and mezcal. These gatherings remind us that their pottery isn’t meant for shelves – it’s meant for shared meals and everyday moments steeped in love.
